IMPReSs facility

The IMPReSs facility (Integral Membrane Proteins Research and Services) offers a panel of services dedicated to the production of integral membrane proteins including, G Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs), transporters, ion channels, membrane enzymes and viral glycoproteins, as well as a number of other cytosolubles proteins (GPCR-interacting proteins - GIPs -, oncoproteins, immunologics...).

Production and purification of recombinant proteins

Since the lab was created in 1995, several groups have developed a solid expertise in the production and purification of recombinant proteins for their own functional and/or structural projects. Beyond the classical tools and techniques that are routinely employed, several original and innovative methodologies have been developed, several of them being dedicated to membrane proteins and particularly to GPCRs. Based on this specific know-how, the IMPReSs facility has been set up in 2012.

Operation

The facility is open to the academic and industrial scientific community and operates via CNRS-validated service and research activities. With the aim to accurately address the customer's projects and needs, the service is split in fully versatile technical activities, ranging from the GOI cloning down to the purification of the corresponding protein. The catalog of services we offer is detailed in the "Our services" section.
