Frédéric Simonin appointed Innovation Ambassador at the CNRS

The mission of the ambassadors is to promote innovation that is open to research and society

Congratulations to Frédéric Simonin, head of the team “RCPGs, Pain and Inflammation” team, who has just been appointed Innovation Ambassador at the CNRS.

The mission of the Innovation Ambassadors is to share their experience as innovators in order to inspire others to engage in innovative activities, among their colleagues, the research staff of their laboratory, or more broadly within their geographical or thematic ecosystem.

The network currently brings together around eighty researchers. It highlights the diversity of forms that innovation can take: participation in technology transfer or valorization programs, creation of start-ups, industrial chairs, joint laboratories, and collaborative research contracts. The network, still in its early stages, is expected to expand and become more structured in 2026, serving as a catalyst for innovation at the CNRS.
