The Force Foundation has awarded Professor Sylviane Muller the 2025 Robert-Lohr Prize for her pioneering work on autoimmune diseases.

The Force Foundation (Fondation Force pour l’innovation et la recherche en santé) has awarded the 2025 Trophees during a ceremony organized on June 12th at Le Vaisseau. Seven innovative projects were selected that combine technology, medicine, and data to promote healthcare innovations.

On this occasion, Professor Sylviane Muller, co-head of the team "Neuroimmunology and Peptide Therapy" , was honored with the Robert Lohr Special Prize for her pioneering work in immunology and her long-standing commitment against autoimmune diseases.

Sylviane Muller has devoted her research for more than three decades to a detailed understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms of autoimmunity. Her work led to the identification of the therapeutic peptide P140, currently in advanced clinical evaluation for the treatment of lupus with potential for other autoimmune diseases.
