Sylviane Muller, Emeritus CNRS Research Director in our laboratory Biotechnology and Cellular Signaling and head of the team Neuroimmunology and Peptide Therapy, has been appointed to the French Academy of Sciences. Congratulations!
On Thursday, January 8, 2026, the French Academy of Sciences is delighted to welcome eighteen new members, who are exceptional scientists and leading figures in their respective disciplines. These appointments strengthen the Academy’s influence as it continues to promote French and international scientific excellence.
A formal induction ceremony for the new members will be held under the dome of the Institut de France on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
A researcher in immunology and therapeutic chemistry, Sylviane Muller is a specialist in autoimmune diseases. She is known for having pioneered a promising peptide-based treatment that is currently in advanced clinical trials.
